About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud initiatives. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that enhance business operations and provide scalable infrastructure for our future growth. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure our cloud architecture aligns with business goals and adheres to security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud solutions that optimize performance and scale according to organizational needs.
Develop a cloud strategy and coordinate the adaptation process.
Assess applications, software, and hardware to determine a cohesive cloud environment.
Work with cybersecurity team to ensure cloud solutions comply with the best in security standards.
Provide leadership and expertise in the migration of existing infrastructure to the cloud.
Conduct systems design and analysis, and recommend technology that will enhance current systems.
Manage stakeholders' expectations and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and potential impact on the corporate cloud strategy.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of cloud computing and technology systems.
Strong experience with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in cloud security, enterprise networking strategies, and cloud data storage.
Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex cloud issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Hands-on experience with software development and web technologies.
Extensive knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
