About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and insightful BI Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing Business Intelligence systems that improve decision-making, optimize processes, and enhance business efficiency. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate those needs into robust BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze client business processes, gather requirements, and define the scope of projects.
Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions that meet client needs.
Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.
Collaborate with teams to integrate BI solutions within the business environment.
Provide detailed documentation and reporting that outlines findings and results.
Conduct training and support for users on new and existing BI tools and systems.
Continuously evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess company needs and provide scalable solutions.
Present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a BI Consultant or similar role in data analysis or business intelligence.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, SSRS, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
Proficiency with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work in a self-directed manner.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and its implications in clear and compelling ways.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience with data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
Certifications related to business intelligence or data analytics.
